The Briksdal glacier is one of the most accessible and best known arms of the Jostedalsbreenglacier. Briksdalsbreen is located in the municipality of Stryn in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The glacier lies on the north side of the Jostedalsbreen, in Briksdalen (the Briks valley) which is located at the end of the Oldedalen valley, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of the village of Olden. It is located inside Jostedalsbreen National Park.

Next on the schedule will be Briksdalsbreen. We shall hire small cars which have space for 6 people and drive towards glacier – so several cars can drive together. Get on the top and enjoy the view. Further journey will be to Loen Skylift which is a spectacular new attraction and adventure arena, at the inner part of the Nordfjord, in the heart of Fjord Norway. Day 4  GeirangerFjord

On the way to Geiranger, a stop by at Dalsnibba (Geiranger Skywalk). Imagine standing on a mountain top, breathing good mountain air and enjoying the views of snow-covered mountains and the Geirangerfjord, which is part of the West Norwegian Fjords UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can experience all this – and more – at Dalsnibba. And guess what? You don’t even need to walk a single step. Arrival Geiranger.

You would have to be exceptionally blasé if you failed to be impressed by this astounding creation of Mother Nature, emphasised by the will of man to maintain a foothold on the steep mountain sides and glean a living here. Impressive waterfalls cast cascades of thundering water from almost vertical mountain sides. The famous falls De syv søstrene (“the Seven Sisters”), Friaren (“the Suitor”) and Brudesløret (“the Bridal Veil”) tease the cliffs with feather‐light sheer veils of mist whose mission is to create a never‐ending display of changing rainbows to fill you with delight and wonder. The area’s unique natural surroundings were created during a succession of ice ages, when glaciers carved out deep fjords and shaped the high mountains – and it is not a coincidence that the Geirangerfjord today often appears on lists of the most spectacular places in the world.

We will take Ferry to Hellesylt. Drive further towards Sogndal. Stop by at Bøydabreen which is a glacier in the Fjærland area in Sogndal Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located inside Jostedalsbreen National Park, and it is a side branch of the large Jostedalsbreen glacier. Arrival Songdal Hotel Eikum. Check inn and have Dinner.

Day 5 Nigardsbreen Glacier

Nigardsbreen is a glacier arm of the large Jostedalsbreen glacier. During the first half of the 18th century, the glacier expanded due to cold weather. Then during the winters of 1741-1744 were extremely cold. Apples and pears did not ripen during the summer and the bee populations perished. Between 1700 and 1748, the glacier moved forward about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) completely covering and crushing the “Nigard” farm (hence the name of the glacier). By 1748, the Nigardsbreen covered about 48 square kilometres (19 sq mi). From 1930 until 1939, the glacier retracted again.

Lunch, followed by a Barbeeque party! Comeback to the hotel in the evening for dinner and bedtime.

Day 6 Flåm Railway

The Flåm Railway has been named one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world and is one of the leading tourist attractions in Norway. The train runs from the end of Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, up to the high mountains at Myrdal Station. The journey displays the very best aspects of Western Norway’s stunning scenery. In the span of a brief hour, the train takes you from sea level at the Sognefjord in Flåm to the Myrdal mountain station at 867 metres above sea level. The Flåm Railway is one of the steepest standard-gauge railway lines in the world, with 80% of the journey at a gradient of 5.5%. The train runs through spectacular scenery, alongside the Rallar Road, vertiginous mountainsides, foaming waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that, for many people, a single trip up and down is not enough.

National Geographic Traveler Magazine calls the Flåm Railway one of the top 10 train journeys in Europe while in 2014 Lonely Planet Traveller went even further, and named it the best train journeys in the world. After the train trip there will be Lunch. Next on the schdule will be SteinsdalsfossenWaterfall. One of the most popular waterfalls in Norway. The Steinsdalsfossen has a fall of 50 m and is special because you can walk safe and dry behind it. The fall occured in 1699 when the river changed course. There is a footpath from the car park up to and under the waterfall. Drive further, take ferry and reach to Jondal. Check inn and enjoy Dinner.

Day 7 FolgeFonna Glacier

Situated on the southern shore of the beautiful Hardangerfjord in Hordaland County, Folgefonna National Park boasts one of Norway’s largest glaciers. In words and stunning images, Folgefonna, the third largest glacier on mainland Norway, is the heart of the national park. Exotic and dramatic, this magnificent glacier has drawn tourists since 1833. Here are glacier tongues and icefalls, wild valleys, and raging rivers of rushing meltwater and scenic summer pastures. Here our guest have possiblity to take slide on the ice/snow. Lunch time. Drive back down to Jondal downtown and now our guest have possiblity to take Kayak. Dinner in the evening.

Day 8 Back to Oslo

Check out, start driving and stop at Vøringsfossen Waterfall, The Vøringsfossen Waterfall has a free fall of 145 meters and a total fall of 182 meters, and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Norway. To witness the huge volumes of water from the Hardangervidda plateau drop to the valley of Måbødalen below is an impressive sight in natural and idyllic surroundings.

Måbødalen is narrow and steep, and this beautiful valley stretches from Eidfjord through to Hardangervidda, where it is possible to see the waterfall from the bottom of the valley. There used to be several roads passing through Måbødalen, and in the 1780’s stone steps were built (1300 in total) to make the journey easier. Lunch. Start driving through Geilo. Geilo is a town in southern Norway known for ski resorts and mountain trails. It’s a gateway to 2 national parks. The nearest, Hallingskarvet National Park, is characterized by steep cliffs and shelters arctic foxes. A trail climbs to a cabin built by Norwegian philosopher Arne Næss. Southwest of town, the vast Hardangervidda National Park, with its massive plateau, has wild reindeer herds and many lakes and rivers. Arrival back to Oslo in the evening  and enjoy your Dinner. Go back to the Clarion hotel, check inn and rest.
